Should You Choose Collagen or Gelatin

There are many anti-aging skincare products available today, and many of them claim that they can answer the question, "Should You Choose Collagen or Gelatin?". One of the first things that you will want to do when looking for an anti-aging cream is to take a look at the ingredients. The ingredients that are typically found in these types of creams and lotions are collagen, elastin, and hyaluronic acid. These three tissues are what make up the bulk of your skin's connective tissue, and as we get older, our bodies produce less of them. Since we have to replace them, these topical products that claim to contain these ingredients are often very effective in giving you younger-looking skin.

One of the problems with most of these topical products is that the main active ingredient in most of them is collagen and elastin. Collagen and elastin are both firming tissue, and while they do help restore your skin back to its original youthful appearance, they are far from the best at doing so. Collagen is simply too large a molecule to be able to penetrate your skin successfully. Elastin is even worse, as it cannot be absorbed in all by your skin, but luckily there is an ingredient called Cynergy TK which does just this.

Now back to the original question, "Should You Choose Collagen or Gelatin?". Well, technically, there is no right or wrong answer to this question. It really depends on your lifestyle and your personal preference. Collagen and elastin products are great for those who are looking to replace lost collagen and hyaluronic acid through topical application. For those of us that want more, there are a few different avenues to pursue.

Topical collagen and elastin products are quite effective at stimulating your skin to grow new collagen and elastin tissue. The biggest downfall to these types of products is that they do not contain any collagen or hyaluronic acid of their own. As mentioned earlier, you can't absorb these substances through your skin. So you'll either have to buy more collagen and elastin creams or make sure to use a topical cream containing these compounds. I personally like to use a product containing both collagen and hyaluronic acid as opposed to the more expensive topical creams that don't.

Creams containing Cynergy TK are the best to directly stimulate your skin to produce collagen and elastin molecules. By using a topical cream that contains Cynergy TK, you have a much better chance of developing a positive skincare regimen that will stimulate the production of collagen and elastin. In addition to Cynergy TK, you want to avoid products containing collagen and hyaluronic acid. These compounds are too dense for it to be possible for them to penetrate your skin. Don't get me wrong, there are many good collagen and elastin products out there, but you can't depend on just one.

If you want to know the answer to the question, "Should you choose collagen or gelatin?" then you need to understand how the production of these tissues in your body affects your appearance. Collagen provides a smooth, wrinkle-free look to the skin while elastin provides the firmness that helps to contour your body. It's important to remember that all three major skin components are equally important for looking and feeling your best.
